Clever Pushrods

Here are four images showing details for lightweight pushrods.

The control surface horn is the stock 1.5" long carbon rod included in the kit. The nylon clevis that is glued to this rod is a standard 1/2A aileron torque rod clevis. The pushrods themselves are short pieces of 0.07" dia carbon rod. A 1/2A nylon clevis is CAed to one end and a brass threaded tube is CAed to the other end. The threaded brass end allows for fine adjustments of the attached nylon socket. Ball joints are then added to the servo arms.
